On the Air

The PPRAA 10m Net meets every Thursday at 1900 hrs local time on 28.390MHz.
It’s an informal rag chew and radio adjusting forum. We meet on 28.390 USB at 7 PM. After hearing from all that check-in, we then go to 50.125 USB and possibly other frequencies and modes.
This gets the multi-mode rigs on the air and we find out what they can do. Possible frequencies are 50.125 USB, 52.525 FM, 144.220 USB, 446.00 FM, 432.100 USB. These last will be with vertical antennas. If Techs check in on SSB then we will come back to SSB after each mode change so the Techs can listen to AM/FM and report what they heard. It’s a good opportunity to learn how to adjust your rig for other modes besides SSB. Wayne, WD5CMP will normally be the net control.

The PPRAA 2m Net meets every Thursday at 2000 hrs local time on 147.345+, 107.2 ctcss
