About PPRAA

PPRAA Information

The Pikes Peak Radio Amateur Association (PPRAA) is an American Radio Relay League (ARRL)
Special Service Club located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The PPRAA is a social and technical membership organization which provides educational and recreational activities for its members intended to further their knowledge in the art of radio communications.
During its monthly meetings, the PPRAA provides a place where people interested in amateur radio can socialize and exchange information and experiences related to all aspects of amateur radio. The PPRAA encourages its members to participate in public service communications, civil defense, charitable fund drives and other activities for which amateur radio is particularly adapted. The PPRAA also provides technical education and training to anyone interested in obtaining amateur radio privileges. The PPRAA does not own or sponsor any repeaters. The PPRAA is a 501(c)(3) corporation.

Club Manual

The club manual is a living document meant to provide information to officers, directors, and members of the PPRAA about how the club operates. In past years, the club has not had good documentation about activities so that a person can come in and take over an activity without relearning the activity. The purpose of this club manual is to avoid reinventing the wheel. If you have information to add to the club manual, please send it in to the .
